This winter the 2008 Colfax Ski Team proved that they are the Fastest Falcons at Colfax High!

CNISSF Championships were held the first week of March at Northstar-at-Tahoeâ„¢ Resort.

Kudos to the Men's Team for placing 13th overall.

Individual results were just as impressive. Max Schopfer is ranked 7th for All-State and had a 1st place finish in Giant Slalom on March 4 with a combined time of 108.47. Ross Thomson and Dylan Laidlaw Giant Slalom starts contributed 133 points to the Team's ranking score.

The Falcon Women stepped up at championships taking home a 21st ranking. Allison Gutierrez improved drastically this season. She finished 8th in Slalom on March 3rd and top 25 in Giant Slalom on March 4th. Gutierrez finished the season just one point away from making All-State.

On March 20, Coach Scott and Brandt will be congratulating their champions for a successful season at Chevy's in Auburn, CA. Make sure to visit our website to see footage from the party. The coaches want to send out a big thanks to all parents and supporters of the Colfax Ski Team and look forward to next season.

Nicole Bajka suffered a knee injury this season; however, she continued to support fellow teammates and took on the project of developing a website.
