On Thursday and Friday, work to remove the center median on Folsom's Sutter Street began. Teichert crews used heavy equipment to dig down to the original Highway 50 underneath the 1960s era median. The trees were removed on Thursday. The Sutter Street Revitalization project should take about a year and is budgeted at approximately $8 million. The project is also known as Streetscape.
