Reader input

Is the EID board our only line of defense?

Isn’t it the EID board’s duty to be the stewards of the ratepayer’s funds?

What does EID, the federal, state and most local governments now have in common?

Is it that they are irresponsibly spending beyond their revenues? Is that the same as deficit spending?

When was the last time you spent beyond your checkbook?

Did anyone hear, see, or obtain the complete justification for a rate increase?

Does anyone feel that the EID board acted to protect our “ratepayers overall interests?”

The EID board voted 5-0 for the rate increases after the EID staff backed them into a corner with a “one-way, increase in rates” solution.

Who is going to go bankrupt first, you or EID? Is this an end to the EID financial horror stories or only the beginning?
