Scouts thank community
Reader input
Feb. 8 was the 100th anniversary of Boy Scouts in the United States. To celebrate this monumental event, Troop 310 of Orangevale conducted a drive to collect food for the Twin Lakes Food Bank. Vic’s Market generously let our troop set up tables at their store, and we collected 185 non-perishable items for the food bank, and over $270 in cash donations. Troop 310 would like to thank Vic’s Market and their customers for the generous donations. Troop 310 also collected food in the local neighborhoods and would like to thank the generous citizens of Orangevale, Fair Oaks and Folsom. If anyone wold like to still donate non-perishables or cash, please contact the Twin Lakes Food Bank. Taylor Reynolds, Senior Patrol Leader, Troop 310, Orangevale
