The body of Cody Isaacson, 16, of Rocklin was recovered from Lake Natoma in Folsom on Sunday evening two hours after he dove in from the bluff known as China Wall.

Witnesses say he dove into the lake from the 50-foot bluff and never resurfaced.

China Wall is a popular jumping spot, but bluff-diving is a misdemeanor, according to law enforcement.

The Drowning Accident Rescue Team retrieved the body from the water about 7 p.m. Sunday, about two hours after he dove into the lake.

China Wall is located near Folsom Boulevard and Iron Point Road in Lake Natoma, downstream from Folsom Lake.
