Daughter is suspect in mom's death
Woman found dead in El Dorado Hills home
By Don Chaddock, The Telegraph
El Dorado Hills resident Tylar Witt, 14, is a prime suspect in the death of her mother.

A woman missing from work for a few days has been found dead in her home and foul play is suspected.

The victim's 14-year-old daughter, Tylar Witt, and her 19-year-old boyfriend, Steven "Boston" Colver, are the prime suspects, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.

The woman was in her 40s. Her body was found by deputies on Monday, according to Capt. Craig Therkildsen.

"It is still under investigation," he said.

Invesigators waited most of Monday on a search warrant to begin examining the home where the body was found.

According to Therkildsen, the woman did not report to work on Friday and her coworkers became concerned. They went to her home in the 200 block of Tattinger Court over the weekend and knocked on the door, but no one answered.

When the woman didn't report to work on Monday as well, the deputies went to her home and discovered the body.

The identity of the victim has not officially been released.

Law enforcement officials believe the suspects have fled to the Bay Area and have altered their appearance.

They believe the couple should be considered "armed and dangerous."
Colver is a 2008 graduate of Oak Ridge High School, according to his Facebook page. He listed activities on his page as "drinking (and) smoking cigarettes." He also lists his job as a shift leader at Rubio's.
